Start with the Middle East then.
The South China region is the worst for this abhorrent behavior, but SSA, LAC, MENA, and EAP still have serious problems with it as well. Even some of our allies in those regions still allow it. If the left truly cared about people abusing kids, this would definitely be the global issue to protest. The United States should immediately cut ties with any nation that still allows this practice within its borders, whether legally or culturally.
Opinion -Anyone in the US who can’t condemn “child marriage” should not be allowed to run for office. Someone like that has no business governing or making laws.
In Iran, 12 year old girls legally marry old men, which we all agree is terrible.
Yet the left is in the streets protesting IN FAVOR of the Iranian regime.
When the left says they want to end “child marriage,” what they really mean is that they don’t want a 17 year old to marry her 18 year old boyfriend because they know Christians who start families younger will have more kids and that usually means producing more Republicans.
So they want it to be legal for a 17 year old to have sex out of wedlock, and legal for her to murder her baby, but illegal for her to get married.
