Of course it’s always been about money. Trump is a businessman and a capitalist; he’s never been a politician. He has no idea how foreign relations are *supposed* to go in politics, he just treats other countries like they are businesses.
Him trying to acquire Greenland is no different to him than Paramount acquiring Warner Bros.
