After years of Trump insisting that he wouldn't drag the US into more wars, it's really crazy seeing pundits trying to make it seem that actually, he always said this was going to be the plan, and that in fact he's just "keeping his promises". Also insulting to our intelligence is the incredibly simplistic, infantile reduction to this being just about good guys fighting bad guys to stop them from nuking the world.
