      Well, I’m gonna tell you anyway.

      Pooping and sleeping.

      I wish I never needed to poop or sleep. Why? Because it takes too much time, and it’s annoying. I hate needing to sleep. Imagine all the things I could be doing if I never needed to sleep. Same goes for pooping. Imagine if the food you ate just vanished instead of being turned into poop. How much time do you spend pooping in a year? Think of all the things you could be doing instead.

      I feel like I appeared very narcissistically when I said I liked metanl posts appearing in the DT, because it seems like people did not enjoy that idea. Context is that I just like knowing when a ban appeal is happening, and to see it pop up mid-DT is neat. Others didn’t like that, and replied saying that we should stop metanl posts being linked in the DT.

      Perhaps this means there is demand to cease metanl posts appearing in the DT because of the negative incentives? Food for thought.

      God I love Robert Caro. Columbia teaches the Power Broker, and he’d see students reading the book whenever he’d take the 1 train. And he’d get home at the end of the day and tell his wife Ina (who helped him research and write the book) “I saw a wonderful thing today. Another kid was reading the Power Broker”

      Why does anyone think that cars make you more independent?

      To use a car you need a 12 foot wide pre-paved rigid linear pathway to get you from where you are to where you want to go. You then need a 20 by 9 foot space where someone will let you store your two tons of metal for as long as you are at your destination.

      When you’re driving it is very annoying to take detours if you want to stop somewhere along the way, you are at the mercy of traffic in terms of how long it will take you to go somewhere, and when there is traffic there is literally nothing you can do but sit there and wait in the congestion. Alternative routes are almost never going to be that much better. Not to mention the fact that to get basically anywhere you NEED to own an expensive two ton machine that falls apart as you use it and has many associated expenses. Cars also sometimes create coordination problems if you are going with multiple people (the people who don’t drive are at the mercy of the people who do). Driving also forces you to spend your time paying attention completely

      I find cars to be the thing that restricts my freedom the most in day to day life. If I’m walking or biking in an area built for it there are usually tons of different routes I can take to get to a destination, I can easily stop and do things on the way, and I can just use my fucking legs to move me somewhere instead of relying on a complex machine that I need to drag around with me and that has 500 points of failure. Walking rarely has traffic issues and if it does it’s pretty trivial to move around because I can move in more than just two directions and humans take up much less space. Crazy I know!!!! Oh also I don’t have to worry about my legs breaking down (given something whacky doesn’t happen~)

      Do you guys ever have thoughts pop into your head that you’d only really ask a forum like this if you were drunk, because like, you just know you’d get fashed for it?

      I have to find a less fashed DT or like forum or something for the stupid questions I’d get fashed for.
