Actually making a policy for afghan women where any of them can automatically apply for status if they make here (like we had for cubans) seems obviously morally correct considering we abandoned them to a brutal religious oppressive state

People seem to underestimate how difficult it is for an Afghan woman with no political or social rights to get from Afghanistan to the UK to claim asylum.
It’s not like all 20 million of them are going to organize a walkout, rent a bunch of airplanes and fly to Europe in a group (if they did that would be badass and I would support it)
