The trial was going on. This caused his hands to swell which is why the glove didn’t fit

Because the mainly African- American jury was still upset that the racist LAPD had beaten Rodney King and not faced any penalty. They felt OJ was a hero in their community, even though he had left his people for the upscale, mostly white neighborhood of Beverly Hills, and never gave back or acknowledged where he came from once he became rich. There are also reports of OJ being outwardly racist against his own race. He was a bad person who should have gone to prison for clearly committing a double murder, but was falsely shown to be a black hero to a group of impressionable jurors who wanted to get home to their families, instead of serving justice.

The only people that didn’t think he did it was the jury.

I mean the dude was guilty as all get out but these pictures mean nothing. Every body and their brother wore those types of gloves back in the day. Especially spending a lot of time outside in the weather. Like what the fuck? Was the dude just supposed to have cold hands?

They were mad about Rodney King

The prosecution botched the trial. The LAPD botched the investigation. Those two things resulted in a murderer going free. There’s no conspiracy, just incompetence. This isn’t a true crime sub so it’s not an appropriate post for it.

Weird an actual conspiracy won’t somebody think of the false flags?
I think the story of the trial is a lot easier to decipher today than it was back then. In 1995 you probably saw a ton of news coverage and read a lot of articles but that’s like a magnifying glass to social media’s microscope. It’s weird to think of people back then buying the story but they were less informed. I do still bet the gun-to-your-head consensus was that he did it though.

The best theory I have heard so far is that it was actually OJs son that did the deed.

Apparently the gloves from the scene of the crime didn’t fit…
So they had to “acquit”.
This theory was likely true until the KKK started wearing belly shirts everywhere, just to disprove cochran.

Maybe they just didn’t want to see it?
