We don’t have compulsory military service we have an all volunteer military. So for Baron to be drafted they would first have to enact a draft. We have only been doing whatever we have been doing in Iran for a few weeks. If there was going to be another draft it would have been during the Gulf War which went on forever.
There is a reason no one has been drafted since Vietnam. It was ugly. No presidents sons were drafted to it. I don’t know if any qualified at the time. John Fogerty said he wrote the song Fortunate Son about David Eisenhower.
In short I don’t think you want Trump’s kid drafted because that would mean many 28 year olds getting drafted not just him.

I get the sentiment, but I believe the military prefers to remain volunteer instead of having to deal with people who aren’t qualified and don’t want to be there.
But if they do somehow institute a draft then their children absolutely should at the top of the list.

Well if Baron is 18 or older he will have already have signed up for selective service. All guys do when they turn 18 and have for decades.
