Submission statement: just as 2022 was the European energy crisis year, 2025 is unfortunately gearing up to be the Asian energy crisis year, since those countries will be the worst hit nowadays

for example ,back in 2022, Japan still paid like 50% less for natural gas than Europe because they were getting most of their LNG through long term contracts, while Europe had to squeeze the LNG sport market for every cubic meter

this time, its the reverse, as most of Europe’s LNG now comes from long term contracts, Middle East LNG covers less than 5% of Europe’s gas demand, while Asian countries are deprived by force majeure of their deliveries from long term contracts , and have to compete in the Squid Game of oil and gas spot market trading

and unlike Europe, many Asian countries simply don’t have the money to divert enough oil and gas from the global market to satisfy their energy hunger, so demand destruction is the only way to go, alongside the switch to cleantech
