Why did Iran kill all those protesters anyway, seems like bad PR. Were a lot of them armed or something?
Yeah, like I said earlier, I don’t way a real way out for him. One option is for him to make major concessions to Iran, but you guys know that’ll never happen because he’ll look like a major loser in the conflict and will also drag US prestige and dominance down the mud (and also Iran will demand major concessions from the US which obviously won’t happen either). He can’t run away from this conflict either because that’ll give Iran more leverage over the conflict and leave US allies in the region abandoned. The only path for Trump is to, at this point, make a gradual full-scale invasion to seize control over the Strait of Hormuz by taking over islands and key cities and port, and maybe even eventually topple the Islamic Republic, such as by cutting food and water supplies off from it. It’ll very likely be a disastrous process even if the US succeeds in toppling it, however.
