Because they’ve been told they are victims in order to exploit votes from them. I’ve watched it happen in a grad school context. Students (immigrant and native) show up excited to learn the subject they are passionate about at the school they chose. Then, because of the student culture they are immersed in (read: the Marxist narrative), three months later (!) they are bitter and angry, convinced that the school administration is screwing them out of wages so the president of the school can buy a bigger mansion.
The transformation is wild, and it happens so quickly. It’s staggering. And it’s sad. These kids aren’t happy. But they hold out hope that if only their union fixes the perceived injustice (which never seems to be fixed, despite raises, etc), that their happiness would be complete. And all the while, the union (and especially their admin / leadership) is the one who profits.
But you’ll never see college protests over union administration wages.

It’s not today’s immigrants. The propaghanda is making immigrants who have been here decades suddenly turn. It’s disgusting what neomarxists are doing.
