Nukes it’s why every despot has a rational argument for developing nuclear weapons

1. Summary
Despite Western media and PPP fear-mongering, there is no rational reasons for Trump to launch a military campaign in Korean Peninsula.
2. How is this related to the sub
(1) Nuclear deterrence
(2) Iran War Escalation
3. My opinion
It’s sad to see the variant of “Second Foundation War” prophecy is spreading into western media. Just like Korean pro-Yoon far-right rants about Trump’s invasion of Korea to kill Lee Jae-Myung, western “experts on Korean affairs” are ranting about a possible Trump’s invasion of Korea to remove Kim Jong un. Both are misguided as Trump is not that insane or dumb. He wouldn’t attack nuclear armed nations and have great respect for Kim Jong-un for his iron fist rule over his population. He wants cooperation with Kim over condo construction, tourism and security.

The only reasons that matter is trump likes Kim and cares little for the nations that would benefit from ousting the regime. And to be clear – they don’t actually want trump going in either.
With Iran trump doesn’t like the nation and their rulers. He’s brought up their assassination attempts on him. And he likes the leaders in the region that wanted the Iranian threat decimated. Often because they’ve given him unbelievable amounts of money.
This needs no larger narrative. Nor does it need a nuclear umbrella. Getting nukes has cost NK far more than they will ever benefit. NK’s sovereignty was never under threat. At least, not as long as China prefers a somewhat unruly puppet over a potential western ally sharing a border.
