Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will make his first visit to North Korea, as the two sanctioned states look to build ties. The official visit, planned for March 25-26, comes at the invitation of leader Kim Jong Un, according to a statement on the Telegram channel for Lukashenko’s press pool, Pul Pervogo. The two leaders will discuss relations between the two countries as well as ways to “boost two-way cooperation.”
