    The European Commission has opened a child-safety probe into Snapchat under the Digital Services Act, amid fears adults are using the app to groom minors. The move follows a US ruling that Meta and YouTube built addictive products harming a young user and comes as the EU weighs social-media bans for under-16s. Regulators also warned Pornhub, Stripchat, XNXX and XVideos they may face fines if they fail to implement robust age-verification systems.
