don’t love the idea of the old royal family taking over (after all, they were removed for a reason), but at the very least he seems more reasonable than the current regime and definitely seems to check the “someone we can work with” box.

he seems like a pretty massive upgrade, especially if his promise to lead iran into a future of democracy isn’t just empty words. after all, it’s not like HE was the one that was removed from power. maybe the apple did in fact fall far from the tree.
