Oh wow, this is game changing. I’m expecting a strongly worded statement to be released in the next few months.

I think they might be getting the hint that Trump just might actually walk away once the military objectives are satisfied even if Itan hasn’t signed an agreement and even if the Strait isnt “open”.

Fact is Itans response to America attacking then was to go after global shipping in international waters. Thats not Americas fault or problem. We can easily replace what little we lose with the Strait close. Europe could’ve just sent a few ships and aircraft to help us secure international water but instead chose to argue we have to fix it alone because “its not Europe’s war”. Welp so far it seems Trump is leaning towards doing the right thing and will just walk away instead once the bombing is done.

Personally im a little torn on whether itd be better to go take Kharg island and the 3 that are disputed islands to both cripple Irans economy and to give us a much closer defense point in the Strait so that we could take Irans best card away and get them to finally take talks seriously or if itd just be better to let countries defend their own shipping in international waters and just spend our resources eradicating every bit of Irans military and defense supply chain.
