Only conservatives would see declining teen pregnancy as a bad thing.

MAGA: “Whatever happened to teen pregnancy? Where are the young pregnant women at?”

She’s talking about women in their 20s. She clearly says so. The other demographics are on the chart for comparison only. It’s stats put out by the CDC.

This graph is terrible, and the coloring is misleading. Look at the actual per 1,000 births. Teens goes down roughly 50 per 1,000, but the other top lines drop even more. This is a psy op graph to make people believe teen pregnancy is the only decline, when in fact it is not, and so therefore ignore the actual data. When adults, non teens, are on their own, they are increasing not having kids because they have to support themselves. Teens have parents to help, most 20+ do not. This just shows economic prosperity is degrading and the first or easy victim is having kids.

Imagine complaining about a massive decline in TEENAGE birth rates.
Also since everyone loves AI so much, here’s a quick summary
> Raising a child in the U.S. costs an average of roughly $23,000 to $30,000+ per year as of 2024-2025, with costs rising as the child ages. Total costs to raise a child to age 18 are estimated over **$300,000–$400,000**, driven heavily by housing, childcare, and food. First-year costs often include high upfront expenses for gear and medical care.

We would love to be able to get married and have kids at 24, how about you guys create the economic conditions for more than about 10% of the population to afford that?

The majority of the decline in birth rate seems to be among teenage mothers.
So, uh, good?

That’s fucking wild. I don’t know if it’s the evilness or the lack of self-awareness that stuns me more.

The fact that she explicitly calls out teen birthrate is psychotic. At least, she didn’t have the chart set up for just the white birthrate.

Capitalism NEEDS you to have kids. If you don’t, they won’t have anyone to do their work. Not having kids is one of the greater choices you can make these days.

Look up birth rates by nation… Which nations birth rates are going down and see which ones are going up….

What an opener… 🤢. Of course that’s the only figure she mentions too. Hopefully this is just a prelude to porn being outlawed… 🤭🤭🤭

Sounds like women are waiting until their 30s to have kids. Sounds like responsible planning to me
