      I wonder if the future of LLM’s is several different specialized models instead of one general high performance model. kinda makes sense to me, in my software engineering job I wouldn’t ever really need a good art or picture or video skills from my agent at all.

      One thing that bothers me that AI skeptics say is that “people have been predicting the singularity is near for decades now” when that’s not exactly true. I feel like the date at which people in AI predict the singularity has gotten closer to the present, not a “constantly 10 years away” situation like with fusion. Kurzweil is a crank but he’s moved his predictions closer to the present, not the opposite
