Create a completely new party. Nominate Mitt Romney for President. Bully all opposition into submission. Completely shut down opposition/members of the new party from speaking to the media except Romney himself. Romney talks to only few trusted media sources, and directly with voters with social media. He completely avoids talking about losing/controversial issues. You get supermajority, and can start fixing institutions of the US to prevent another Trump/MAGA event
