With the victory of Magyar, Orbán’s rule of massive corruption, overcomplicated tax system and frequent abuse of the law will likely come to an end. This coupled with the fact that the EU is much more willing to cooperate with the new PM, and is much more willing to release the witheld euro billions, makes Hungary a much more attarctive market then it was before. In the days since Magyar was elected, Hungary’s national currency, the Forint jumped to a 4 year high against the euro, with 1 euro equaling 362 Forints. A few weeks ago it was 400.
