      Just woke up from a dream that my boyfriend was an astronaut and I was taking our child (šŸ„°) to go see the launch for his space mission.

      It was a long road trip and I kept having strange hallucinations. Eventually, I remembered that I was a Russian sleeper agent who had murdered the man I was imagining to be my boyfriend but my memories were altered. I then went all Winter Soldier trying to find and kill the people that had brainwashed me.

The issue is that some bored teenager who’s got nothing to do at home might decide to crash the global financial system for the lolz by exploiting some zero day hack he found with Mythos. Powerful models democratizing the ability to write such code make this more likely, and that is obviously concerning

      Should the Supreme Court let Trump redo the Liberation Day tariffs in case it was a huge fluke?

      No disrespect to the economists, Iā€™m a firm believer that grocery prices rising is a huge fluke and robs Trump of truly accomplishing what his tariffs are capable of. Iā€™ve spent the last few days in pure disbelief looking at my grocery receipts and it just doesnā€™t make sense to me. Iā€™ve spent the entire year watching the price of eggs dropping and itā€™s just not fair.

      If the cost of living rises again I will face that the critics deserved the win, but I am just 100% sure it was a fluke and does a big disservice to the country and the economy.

      I still think about how they incinerated hundreds of tons of food and medical supplies at taxpayer expense, even as Europe was actively trying to buy it from us so it wasn’t all wasted.

      then they retroactively justified it by claiming the supplies were all contraceptives, which the administration called “abortifacient.”

      some 500 metric tons of food aid bound for children in Afghanistan and Pakistan. and look at how these nutjobs celebrated.

      Konrad Berkowicz from the original Konfederacja showed an Israeli flag with a swastika instead of the Star of David in the Polish parliament. His first post got 36k largely positive reactions of Facebook, got temporarily deleted, and in true Barbra Streisand fashion the new censored one is at 48k. The old one, reinstated, currently has 44k reactions. For comparison, his average post receives around 5k.

      Two and a half years ago, showing a poster with a person throwing a non-altered Israeli flag to the bin was grounds for suspension at a university. Today, hating Israel is a part of an electoral campaign for the mayor of KrakĆ³w.

      This might be a narrative violation potentially refuting the notion that fertility rate might be an issue in the US. Women born in the 1980s just reached a fertility rate above 2.1. Maybe the TFR is calculated based on outdated assumptions that don’t really take into account the fact that women are having children much later than they used to?

      I picked up an EF lens adapter for my camera, just to use with the one Canon mount lens I wanted to adapt.

      if you want countries to have compassionate prison systems, you need to get rid of ridiculous nonsense like crime. humane treatment is under attack because voters view it as essentially a scam and a reward for criminals.
