Has anyone seen the videos from *inside cheap merchant ships?* The only thing scarier than being on one of these is being on one of these when there’s a problem.
They’re built to be as cheap as possible, a sink exercise with an unarmored boat is just one deck gun shot from a destroyer. Nobody would want to sit on a vessel for hours on end quietly wishing to themselves for everything to proceed smoothly.
