      Entropy is the coolest quantity in physics. It’s a simple pure mathematical principle that’s been reified into having physical meaning (and also has a really cool and unexpected connection to information theory)

      Even as someone who isn’t really anti-AI I remain highly suspicious of productivity gain claims.

      Purely based on personal experiences working in tech though, I just don’t understand if AI is providing 3-40% productivity gains why has work-life balance for every single person I know gotten considerably worse in the last 5 years?

      Weird moment at dinner yesterday. My female friend gives her credit card to the female server to pay. Server asks a question, my friend answers, server looks at me and responds, then looks back at her credit card processing doohickey. My friend says something back, server looks at me and responds again. Wasn’t an accident, I don’t think.

      Underrated part about toddlers is you can just make them work. Like oh can you bring me spoons, plates and other stuff please. And they’ll happily bring it.

      After biting, trying to chokehold and wrestle me (because I’m stronger than him) At and outside the bar, the straight guy im friends with kissed me in the lips about 4 different times, telling me im his best friend and that he loves me.

      Perhaps it’s all the alcohol, but idk he’s also weird too. He was biting my fingers at the bar, and bit my lip while we were wrestling
