My post was taken down in the Conservative group. Giving money/loan to a failing company is bad enough but per the article "The airline could receive around $500 million from the government, financing that could give the government an equity stake in the discounter." I feel like I am taking crazy pills. Government ownership of private industry is a basic tenet of socialism/communism. No one is batting an eye. It's not like this is the first time this administration has purchased equity in a private company.

You aren’t taking crazy pills, Trump used the conservative movement for his own gain. The man was never once a conservative, only in the “own the libs, Woke is dead” way. Not the small L liberal conservative way.
