  1. I think this faction are what I call “dead-enders”.

    Picture Hitler in 1944. He knows the game is up but he can’t give in because there’s no future for him, so he will drag the German people down with him.

    The IRGC know that if they sign a deal, their goose is cooked. It’s just a matter of time until the regime collapsed. The estimate I heard yesterday for the damage done to the regime was 300 Billion. It will take Iran many years to come back from that. Meanwhile, their population was already on the verge of rebellion before the war. Even if they sign a deal, Public opinion will just get worse and worse in Iran until the regime is unsustainable.

    So these IRGC hardliners, I believe, see that they have no future and are playing out an endgame where they seek to waste time until they hope Trump gives up.
