Considering he comes from the banking industry rather than the political sphere, it seems he’s more of a technocrat. Hopefully he can break the political deadlock & advance the socio-economic reforms Iraq needs. Hopefully he can incorporate all non-state militias into the state rather than letting them run wild. Hopefully he’s also pro-Western but we will see.
