Why do people on this sub bring up pop musicians as coming off as “demonic” but don’t say a single thing about the thousands of metal bands that parade demons on their merch?
good question. i think it’s because metal is a small scene compared to pop, most metal bands are self-funded and aren’t in it for money, and also i’d imagine the vast majority think the demon stuff is made-up and funny, rather than real an conspiratorial. i think in the 70s/80s and a bit in the 90s metal was probably funded by the types of entities that are pushing the demonic pop stuff now because metal was a lot more popular then, an example is Dio — i’d wager that Dio was clued in, sold his soul, participated in the demonic madness, etc.. Iron Maiden? maybe, but I’d say probably not. a band like Behemoth? i think they’re just having fun and unaware of what lies behind their themes. this is just my opinion though, could definitely be wrong. what do you guys think ?

Because metal isn’t pop music made for the general public. Satanic met as l is what it is and it’s not popular.
Because it’s largely geared towards kids and teens

Most songs and metal bands bring awareness to the toxic societies. Pretty much every metal band has a song about how shitty the entities in charge are. It might sound dark and scary but it really isn’t. The other percentage is gobbledygook gruesome sounding words.
Some pretty big examples:
Black Sabbath war pigs
Metallica one
Clutch x-ray vision
I’m sure there’s more but the metal I listen to doesn’t have much for lyrics. Point is it’s about vibrations and heavily distorted guitar and bass with a solid double kick just vibrates. This is coming from a dead head. Wanna talk music conspiracies we can go there but metal is basically ironically scary to those used to gum drops and rose kisses.

I think this is one of the most ironic things ever. The only real satanists in metal are those that OPENLY say it or some black metal bands, and they’re very few.
The whole rest of metal just likes the dark aesthetics of it all, and to deep dive in the dark sides of human nature a lot. But we’re not really demonic nor satanists nor nothing of the ilk.
HOWEVER, these pop bands with CONSTANT demonic imagery, and fucked up imagery at that, because if you look at something like IMMORTAL, you can see they’re having fun with the whole thing. But go to a couple of The Weekend and Lady Gaga’s concert and tell me that shit isn’t for real.
They do it for some other fucked up reason. There’s no metal musicians in the Epstein Files. There’s no metal musicians saying they’re going to pizza parties.
I could go on but you get it

I think most people know the music industry in general is pretty much satanic but many don’t care or are satanic themselves

You’ve never heard about how Led Zeppelin’s Stairway to heaven says Oh sweet Satan backwards?
AC/DC was thought to meant antichrist devil child and serial killer Richard Ramirez loved them.
Marylin Manson is thought to inspire the columbine shooters.
Many of these artists where seen as fishy when they were relevant and rightly so.
They are not anymore and Bring me the Horizon is only known today because of the Gigachad meme.
What’s the trend today is things like Taylor Swift and Travis Scott which ironically seem to be more satanic then the artists previously mentioned.

Metal musicians are some of the biggest fucking nerds out there. No way they’re sacrificing babies to Satan… They almost all do shit like collect comic books and action figures and play D&D and watch Star Trek and any other nerdy thing you can imagine. I’m not even joking… I’ve been friends with metal musicians and they’re almost all like that.

Metal bands have some of the smartest lyrics of any genre. A lot of them are about overcoming things or hating the establishment. Nothing demonic about most of them
