SS: A sick passenger boarded a flight with 80 people, then died at the airport in South Africa. The WHO seems to be downplaying this, but it looks like this virus could now be airborne and we’re looking at something far worse than COVID. The doctor treating the passengers is currently being evaluated because he became ill. At the very least it spreads by touch.

Very surprised more people aren’t talking about this, I think most are under the impression that it is not easily transmitted person to person, and maybe it’s not & this will fade away into oblivion. But after covid, it would not surprise me if this thing was fucked with
I was way misinformed on this. I thought everyone who had it was still on the ship. Either dead or not allowed to disembark. Nope, I was way wrong. 6 people have disembarked or been evacuated, including the one OP mentioned. To at least 2 different locations (SA and the Netherlands). Also no rats have been found on the ship. And they did a land excursion through the area where the one human to human strain of the virus is from.
Hmmmmm
