Makes me want to power puke, knowing that this is even going to be discussed. It *should* already fall under and be enforced, with prejudice, by rules already in place – or really by laws already on the books.
I think we absolutely have seen some representatives land in DC on a mission to legislate for the betterment of the US, who felt term limits are a necessity for the health of the republic.
But when they get deeper into the power, the celebrity, and most importantly the huge fucking boat load of cash they can earn by insider trading – they give in to temptation.
