Submission statement:
With the landslide winning of PHON in Farrer, the revival of the far-right of Australia is now dead on set. Meanwhile, the LNP leader reflecting upon the humiliating defeat and once again emphasis that anti-immigration should be the priority for LNP and the voice of Australians.
Whether will PHON continue this populism trend or not and whether PHON will try to undermine Australian democracy are remain to be seem as the party itself always throwing contradiction towards itself due to weak structure, but still, the massive reduction on immigration intake is becoming more and more possible on the horizon. Which, is closely related to liberalism.
My personal view:
The winning of PHON, from my pov, is going to be a turning point of Australian history, that if Labor not address housing crisis in the near future, the chance of a far-right takeover and a revival of White Australian Policy is not zero.
As an immigrant in Australia, day by day I feel more and more dreadful towards my future…
