Are Obama and Buttigieg known for their degrowth agenda?

I would add that Carney benefits immensely, to the point that it arguably is the reason he’s in office, from the shitshow in America with Trump. It′s easy to look good next to a towering pile of gold-plated feces, but that’s cold comfort to those of us stuck in the front row because of the median voter. Even if Biden′s legislation hadn’t been handicapped by provisions to appease swing state special interest groups, most of the benefit wasn’t going to come quickly. There’s also only so much you can do with reconciliation.
Really, if Democrats want to push out quick results for the American people, the filibuster has to go. The Democratic President that rams through universal paid sick and parental leave in their first year will get better dividends in midterms than someone who tries ″reaching across the aisle″ to barely pass a reconciliation bill that kind of creates more jobs.
