  1. > The Supreme Court just issued an UNANIMOUS 9-0 ruling that freight brokers can be sued if they negligently hire companies with risky trucking practices. Time for companies to be held accountable for putting foreign truck drivers on U.S. roads.

  2. I’m a trucker. This decision is great. It will end all of these brokers hiring out super cheap loads to shady trucking companies thinking their immune from any liability. Amazon was listing $5/mile loads today on load boards as a result.

    This will help American truckers.

  3. This is a brilliant ruling.

I used to drive a box truck on day runs, and prior to that I used to inspect trailers that came into a drop yard.

The sheer number of drivers, trailers, and cabs that should never be allowed on the road again is staggering.

We would get trailers with literal holes in the walls and be told to let them roll back out. Nah, bud. Fail, fail, fail.

I can’t wait to hear how this is racist and it’s because Trump hates consumers and brown people and this is racist. Also, how this is racist.

And then, they’ll be told something new to be about. It will also be racist.
