People don’t realize how vulnerable everything is. Not the servers run by big tech, but the random computers in small shops in every place called Bumfuck, Iowa. The machines that nobody gives a shit about but processes a relatively (from a global view) large amount of money
It’s why state-backed hackers are known as the biggest threat, even in poorer places like Iran/North Korea. Not because they have the fanciest tools, (these machines often just have ancient systems with publicly known exploits) but because they have a shit ton of man-hours to spend going around and just looking for the exposed stuff
