    It would be cool if Coventry’s ultra-lightweight battery-electric tram concept works out. It has significantly lower upfront costs – shallow tracks and no overhead wires.

    The current state of new rail projects in the UK is pathetic. Just compare London with Paris, and then note that the rest of the UK has even less development.
