I’m so tired of this performative kabuki by Western governments about Israel.
The average person in the West clearly doesn’t want much to do with Israel. Banning their politicians who weren’t going to visit ever isn’t enough. Strongly worded letters of that the EU is monitoring the situation isn’t enough.
Actual actions would be decreasing trade with Israel and not engaging with them in the military supply chain like we did to Aparteid South Africa. Western politicians really aren’t helping themselves considering the allegations that Israel/”the Jews” control the West.
