A group of Sikh MPs have released a joint statement seeking to move the row over Henry Nowak’s death away from focusing on their religion.

Keep the focus; lots of people distracting by trying to make this about things it isn’t about (e.g. starting anti-Sikh attacks and then blaming conservatives for them) –

    * the main problem is that the police were racist against the white guy (Henry Nowak) by allowing an assumption that he had carried out a racist attack to override proper care for him. They moved him when they should have checked his body first. They failed to find his bleeding even when he told them he was stabbed.
    * the secondary problem is that the brother of the murderer knew that the police would do that and used this fact to stop rapid first aid coming to Nowak by making accusations of a racist attack

To be fair to the Sikh community, they had already banned this guy from their temples for being violent and dangerous. The question, then, is why was he still going around, breaking the law and carrying illegal weapons. Should he have been deported? If not, why wasn’t he arrested for his existing crimes?
