Stephen Ogilvie, the disabled Belfast man who was brutally attacked in what looked like an attempted beheading, had been helping his Sudanese attacker move into the flat next door just four days earlier.
The same migrant who later straddled him on the street and tried to saw his head off with a kitchen knife.
Ogilvie, described as kind-hearted but with learning difficulties, had been assisting the man and others with the move. A neighborly gesture that ended in horror.

I heard he has special needs so he may just be a kind hearted person Not uncommon in those who’ve faced persecution themselves, when I left the forces I was a swimming instructor for a SEND school and those kids were the kindest you’ll ever meet God bless em’ so I can see that side of it What a mess these politicians have created they’re not living in
