You know he did this because after COVID, Trump wanted someone to blame and wanted someone who was vocal about staying home and mask wearing, to be behind bars and to make an example out of them. I think it won’t matter at least not with Trump. He is going to do the same “Pardon for everything” bs himself on the way out I am sure and wouldn’t want to set precedent that pardons can be scrutinized or overturned too easily.
