The protests in Albania have been going on nonstop for about 21-22 days now. It started as a small local thing in Zvërnec, but it quickly turned into a huge nationwide movement. Two days ago the government began threatening regular civilians (not with jail, something worse) people who are just out there protesting because parts of their country are being sold off to Trump's family , the home of Flamingos. But Albanians didn’t back down. They pushed back even harder, and nearly a million people have joined the protests so far, demanding an end to the corrupt government.
