It is objectively newsworthy. And the use of selective extracts by left wing journalists to define the murderer as a "right winger" is disinformation that can only be neutralized by publishing the full manifesto.

A shooting in Montreal’s Côte-des-Neiges neighborhood left a police officer dead, another critically wounded, and a civilian killed. The suspect, identified as Seth Hatfield from Alberta, was also killed by police.
The area has a significant J*wish community and high foot traffic. Police responded to reports of an active shooter, advising residents to shelter in place.

What makes this case stand out is the shooter’s 104-page manifesto.
Early media coverage of the manifesto focused on selective excerpts and described the shooter in terms of “i*cel” motivations or other labels. The full document has prompted discussion about the mix of far left political ideas and personal grievances.
