Which is more likely? A hyper advanced civilization navigating the unfathomable distance between stars, only to crash on a shitty little planet populated with creatures that had coincidentally just began to be be curious about the greater universe around them?
Or is it more likely that a few hucksters use fear of the unknown and that same popsci interest in an effort to enrich themselves.

These 4 species haven’t been mentioned together anywhere before that Fox News segment where the guy named “These are some species that might be visiting earth”.

People have been talking about these 4 aliens and more for 50 years, but never this specific grouping of just these 4.
Then as soon as a news talking head says these specific 4, all these sources come out mentioning these exact 4?
Just seems really ridiculous to me.
It’s like someone at fox googled “alien types” and picked some of the most talked about ones.
For example what happened to “the tall whites”?
Don’t exist anymore apparently.
Not buying it, this is bandwagoning.
