Hate to break it to you but he’s just as much controlled opposition as the rest of them.

As a New Yorker, that is why I voted for him and why it was frustrating to deal with the old heads. He brings radical changes for sure, but he is 100% New York first. There is nothing more that I want than someone who actually cares to improve this city that I live in.
If we’re going through the conspiracy route:
Every type of opposition to the state or the system is in some way connected or controlled by that same state.
I like to compare it to in 1984 with Goldstein’s book which in 1984 is actually written by the elite.
Any type of opposition or political colors or flags that go viral these days on social media are in some way controlled or “allowed” by the powers to be.
Zohran Mamdani, Greta Thunberg, Alex Jones, etc. They are allowed to say and do what they want online and irl, because the powers to be allow it. Better have some sort of control over the opposition but when they grow bigger or do “unexpected things” do they only then intervene.
Everyone who aligns with any of the sides that are popular or viral on social media is someone who follows, not leads. Someone who cannot think for themselves. Like most in 1984 that follow, love Insoc and big brother. No rational thinking, no critically looking at their own side, just picking a side, going with anything that side says and hating everything that side hates.
“Palestine”, “Israel”, “Ukraine”, “Russia”, they’re all distractions to keep everyone passionate and busy with those conflicts instead of having a good hard look at their own economical and social situations. And it’s working perfectly for the elite.
If you openly support Palestine, you’re a sheep. If you openly support Israel, you’re a sheep. Same with Russia or Ukraine or Iran or the US.
But everyone has the ability to become a wolf by researching all sides, disseminating propaganda and facts, see what is really happening and what is not.
Nothing could be worse than “Israel First” politicians who defend rapists and support genocide. Nothing could be worse.
