More capacity than storage, and really weak connections to France, so the end result is cheap energy, which aren’t exactly great for the people building solarf farms.
There’s regulatory delays for building the batteries, often led by left wing groups talking about the horrors of EM radiation and similar things. One operation I know used to have demonstrations trying to stop permitting, when it was replacing… A combined cycle plant in the same site, which often burned coal! It’ll finally go online in 2027, maybe.
