It is hard to understand Democrat communists, but maybe they think your right arm can be kept?
But certainly not guns. Maybe they would let you keep a 1700 musket type gun if you were part of a state guard or something, but you never know with them.

Simple really: if people are allowed to arm themselves they can protect themselves from a tyrannical government and like most people have said they want us disarmed and afraid.
