Sen Chris Murphy plans to introduce a bill titled the Living Wage For All Act which would raise the federal minimum wage incrementally to $25/hr by 2039

SS: In the coming years, so many jobs will be replaced by AI and humanoid robots that there will be hardly any unskilled "minimum wage jobs" anyway (store clerk, cashier, warehouse worker, line cook, and many more)

By 2039, tens (or even hundreds) of millions of people will already be transitioned to Universal Basic Income which will be a pittance, comparable to a disability check.

People will live in fear of having their UBI taken away for whatever reason the state decides. Receiving UBI will be a privilege reserved for good citizens with sufficient social credit. Working a $25/hr minimum wage jobs will *also* be a privilege reserved for good citizens with sufficient social credit.

What are your thoughts? Does this bill even have a chance to pass? And if it does, will it accelerate the push to automate the unskilled sector of the American labor market?
