This isn’t a conspiracy. Politicians don’t give a fuck unless it benefits them. Helping heroes doesn’t help them. The only reason they approved health benefits for 9/11 responders was because John Steward, using his fame, shamed them into it and made it worse for them to not support than to support. Without John Steward and his platform, the pleas of these heroes would have gone unanswered.
This is an example of using your fame and influence for good.
