    Korean government spent $ 350 million ( sixth largest spender ) on lobbying but utterly failed to resolve Coupang crisis and contain growing anti-Korean sentiment in the US.

    2. How is this related to the sub

    (1) Lobbying practice: Korean government is utterly failing in its lobbying efforts compared to other nations such as Qatar or Israel.

    3. My opinion

    Korean government seems to be not effectively utilizing lobbying game as this honored and celebrated American tradition looks like corruption in the eyes of Korean bureaucrats and diplomats. They waste money on advertisement and public relations event to appease American populace while utterly failing to buy Washington insiders. This is the problem with Korean bureaucracy culture. They fail to understand local customs and adapt.
