I’m not sure about this. Other than the guy holding her hand (and it looks like he could be “passing a torch”) no one in the photo looks like our collective memory of Ben Franklin.
It just seems like some random people in Philly wanted to have fun and they went out and bought cheap wigs. If I’m remembering correctly she also had a fun kite prop. People from different races and backgrounds coming together to have silly fun is lovely, it’s not like now she gets painted on all 100$ bills and now you get shot if you say “remember when Ben Franklin wasn’t a black woman?”
