The Comet Trust is a private entity that gained public scrutiny for its connection to a 1998 Manhattan real estate transaction. The trust sold a townhouse at 11 East 71st Street to Howard Lutnick (now U.S. Commerce Secretary). The trust had earlier historical links to Jeffrey Epstein.
