Is there a bigger reason as to why this has been so big lately? Is it to cause division? I've tried to say I'm not interested in this content but it always shows up. AI generated "memes" and rage bait descriptions to get people to comment created from Sri Lanka, India, Nigera, etc. Is this designed intentionally or just people taking advantage of a broken system and dying internet? No one ever seems to acknowledge it on the posts.

Amercians have to deal with the intrusive AI data centers in their communities while these countries utlize it to cause division and farm engagement from American citizens. It makes me feel like it partially intentional.

Is this system designed intentionally like this with something larger at play? Or is it people just abusing a system that’s broken? I’ve seen videos of phone farms where people run multiple scams and figure systems similar to that could be in place. I’ve seen very few people mention things like this.

These types of posts are common on Facebook. Twitter is usually less “rage” bait and more purely engagement bait to get simple responses. I see this less on platforms like Reddit and Instagram.

There’s a reason they call it Boomerbook. Boomers love their AI “gotcha” memes targeted at younger generations. They’re caught in their own little Meta echochambers, relishing in their miserable lives whilst we all reject the bullshit we saw them live through and lap up.

It’s to cause divisiveness…it’s everywhere from boomer posts to climate.

Its “actors” to create a narrative… It’s always happened before social media, protests infiltrated etc.

Now you can add bots to the mix.

    I tend to ignore.
