I don’t even live in American and a (genuine) boomer manager was so upset by his death and he said to me that Kirk saying that black pilots weren’t as skilled as white pilots was not in fact racist. I’m not white.
Not fully related to the article but just a reflection of how much power Kirk had and how much of his vile views spread across the globe.
